If you love walking in nature, taking quiet walks in the silence but also pedaling on your bike, in Gargagnago you can choose 5 different paths.

Unbeatable is the experience of "getting lost" in the woods, vineyards, olive and cherry trees, surrounded by cypresses, oaks, fragrant locust trees and fresh pine forests in which to refresh yourself.

Water is the distinctive element of all paths, forming springs, ponds and small streams where animals such as salamanders live, making the vegetation always lush.

There are various floral species, such as orchids, violets, primroses and brooms that you can meet and that will accompany you with their scents throughout the excursion.

You will find that here, although the lands are cultivated with advanced means, everything refers to the peasant world of the past, as shown by the dry stone walls, known by the local population as marogne.

STARTING AND ARRIVAL POINT: CHURCH OF GARGAGNAGO

Continue on via Raimondi and keep right towards the panoramic path; after 300 m you pass a barrier and from here you can admire the town and the whole valley below you.

After another 500 m, you will see the hives of a bee colony; then go past the house in loc. Armaron.

From here the paths branch out:
GREEN and BROWN take the climb on the left up to Cavarena di Sotto;

YELLOW, LIGHT BLUE and GRAY, keep right towards Olta del Vaio de l'Armaron and then go down.

Now choose the most suitable path for you and spend a few hours among the wonderful hills of Valpolicella!
